Throughout the year, I actively seek out and participate in photography contests that emphasize conservation as their central theme. In the past, I was hesitant to enter photo contests for various reasons, but today, I thoroughly enjoy participating and connecting with other passionate photographers who share the same commitment to preserving and protecting our planet's natural wonders.

While social media offers a great way to connect with people and fellow photographers from around the world, platforms like Instagram have shifted away from their original purpose of high-quality image sharing. The emphasis on playing to algorithms and chasing trends has diminished the focus on artistic expression. This website allows me to share my thoughts and appreciation for nature in a more meaningful and personal way, beyond the constraints of fleeting social media posts.

I am truly grateful to have learned from two of the finest avian wildlife photographers in the United States, Scott Keys and Ray Hennessy. Both of these talented photographers have generously shared their expertise, and I highly recommend their mentorship programs to anyone looking to elevate their wildlife photography.
